STATE CREDIBILITY BEGINS WHEN DECISIONS TURN INTO ACTIONS
The Lebanese Private Sector Network commends the decisions issued by the Lebanese government on March 2, 2026, which classified Hezbollah’s military and security activities as violations of the law.
These decisions move in the right direction; however, the true measure will always lie in their serious and effective implementation.
The deployment of legitimate armed forces and the extension of state authority across all Lebanese territory - to protect state institutions and ensure the enforcement of its decisions without ambiguity or hesitation - are urgent and essential.
Lebanon cannot restore the credibility of the state before the international community, nor regain the capacity to reactivate diplomatic momentum and mobilize the necessary support to protect the country and its people, except through immediate and serious implementation.
